One of the most heartbreaking things about men is that, the more they want to bone you, the fewer of your jokes they laugh at.

Absolutely guts me.

I see it so often in sexy spaces - funny women having their hilarious thoughts/witty turns of phrase stonewalled by horny men who fling compliments about their tits without acknowledging their wit at the same time. Devastating. Pearls before swine.

@girlonthenet literally one of my dating requirements: must laugh at my jokes.

One time I made such a good joke, high quality combo of situational humor and pun, and he didn't laugh. Fucking premium joke. Still mad about it.

@bebatjof @girlonthenet On the spectrum, a reaction is very close or the same when there is no reaction...seems odd but example is I went to see a band...
I'm sure the music was awesome very soon in...even though there was no reaction during or even cheer at the end -
we were stunned.
It was like they were shit but we were blown away.

It was like we recognised a new Nirvana being witnessed or born and we had no civilised idea what to do about it!

I realised by my own reaction wanting to jump out of my skin but being trapped somehow and more sure by others that complimented later.

I think we were in shock / memorised...

So take your jokes as perhaps "too good" if it's frequently awesome but not reacted upon in the typical ways :)

P.S if you don't reply to this I will take it the same way as amazingly clear insight... :)

(People in the same way can't handle my clear / enlightening / insightful posts... :)
and I don't mind helping them say it for them as long as we're learning something!). Best regards,
