How do you ... make something like that? Like, I don't even have someone I trust to call if I need a ride home.
I'd... especially like some advice from people who've tried to make it in cultures that aren't theirs. I don't have a culture, I got brought up between three different countries and none of them are "mine" and none really accept me as "theirs". Some times that's fine, other times, especially when it combines with other aspects of identity that are also deemed a problem (ADHD, trauma, gender identity, sexuality), it's the worst thing in the world and so, so isolating.
Boosts are appreciated. I'm not good at reaching out, so every bit helps.

I admit this is over-kill to actually meeting people to find friends!
🌧️ But if it's raining outside and at some point in life you need to... 🌈
█ list / draw all the things on the back of big poster (which is usually white or big size white plastic / paper) and use thick felt pen to write categories and sub list of interests and even draw lines!
A big physical place to write is good for thinking.
Thick pen also so you can see it from far away!
And stick or pin it gently on your door or in hallway like I did for all to see and help me solve (flatmates / guests etc!)
(so it's also for you / others to see often, ask you about or just while you're brushing your teeth hands-free) and brain also gets to work thinking on how you can casually cross-breed it all!
█ This achieves knowing your interests too as it's a bit of a "piece of work" at the end and people think you're a genius.
Other ideas:
█ Find a chess club or a place to sit down cheaply and enjoy something. Board games etc...
█ Events happening / parks Frisbee / football etc
█ Keep talking to me :)
█ Looking at the culture is important. I do like the suggesting to make / mingle culture but some are very set in their ways... Think Russia / Slavic cultures!
█ Beers / Pub helps if young crowd but not if old folks going to chat behind back or ask questions you're not ready to answer and mark you out...
So starting with one person can help here to grow from joining a football or basketball game for example... sport.
