Unpopular opinion: Children should not be given smartphones or tablets.
Instead, they should get full sized desktop computers (not laptops, not chromebooks). As a bonus, it's better to give them computer parts and teach them how to build their own PC from scratch.

All about having better games for me and others (kids and adults)... which sadly isn't the case always.., (especially in cities but not always)

All about having better games for me... which sadly I can 100% say hasn't existed much in youth or not as much as I was looking for or wanted to be offered as a menu of life's options...
It's also asking a lot from life for 100% of the time to have human contact and humanistic things to do as games, tasks, past-times etc... punchline coming:
but that's why we all probably got into computers right - wasn't much else after BMX, park and few idiot friends... after that it was back home with frankly idiot (nice but simple) parents... so this whole solution from how I see it and really measured is like solving the long chain of things - just to get to that stage of less Apple / less watching stuff....

I think there are kids doing this (girls and plaiting hair, origami ideas, art and design etc)
so just takes a few humans to encourage (which brings me back to Free School and encouraging humans... usually adults first!)
