As with Threads federation, I think it is fine that different servers and users take different views - that is fine - but wanted to be very clear with our servers position here and the thinking behind it.

(Also, something I like a lot about Bluesky is how little people on the platform talk about, well, the platform. Whereas on Mastodon and Threads, it’s a constant topic of discussion, with *a lot* of noise. AT Protocol feels a lot calmer to build something on…)
@o_simardcasanova @tchambers Sure but just in case you mean that being vocal or extreme (the protective version of extreme) then having less numbers shouldn't be so much of a comfort in exchange for let's say potential commercialisation or commerce with more capitalistic entities (bluesky with jack dorsey is better but still corporate in those people's eyes).
At least making it clearer to those people helps better than complaining (not you but our the general effort towards understanding, if that is all our aims).
