Writing and exchanging might be a hot subject for me.
But gosh I really have to do both. I get so much out of it.
Rob you mentionned that qoto has been lacking some peps last year (november...).
Yes sometimes it happens when people have other things.
Also I have to be careful about it as it is new that I don't get tired of too much info.
But this network is so much more gratifying than the other ones that I just will have to learn to keep my alignment while I participate and work and write😜

I plan to do some Guides to new Bloggers, highlighting the methods and tools that I use.
The Forums here can be great for a Draft -- the editor on it has Bold, Italic, links, etc.
If you get a nice draft done, it can be easily imported into WF. Minor touch ups, and a new page is done.
I just finished a second one -- because these Forum posts are so well formatted and the writing is all done, it just becomes touches, and image crops, resizes.
Definitely a Good idea -- get an account in the Discourse Forums and you can create posts in a logged users area only, so they are not in public view.

When you talk about the Forums are you speaking about the chats on Mastodon?
If yes, it might be great for me too.
That would allow me to get interactive feedback and see if an idea works or not.
It could really support my writing and keep my flow going.
As well as improving my english. 😀
I am referring to our Discourse Forums, Coralie -- they need a separate account, just register with the same username as here, and an email and soon you are in.
That's where we have the new Pinafore sub-forum, all for it and other areas for different things.
Like these blog posts I am making now -- they are easy for me, since I built them in the Forums months ago.

That was very quick, and I saw and replied to it as well. I raised your user level to Member, so there's some quiet areas you can visit -- and create a Draft post for some blog page without it being in the open.

Feel free to create a personal Topic like that -- just use a title to tell people, something like :
"Coralie's Draft posts Thread" or similar. You can even respond to yourself, with further posts, that thread becomes a scratch pad for you.
I use that method myself.
