@hansw I have planted a veggie garden here at home this year; have done it in the past, but not when I am on extensive travel, as it requires care.
Went looking for little plants and the garden centers are pretty much bare -- one lady at one told me they had a lot of people who never did this before, now coming to get plants for food growing.
Resulting in unexpected shortage. Still haven't found the swiss chard I wanted. Other plants are in the ground, weather has been good this week.
Have you thought of using perennials and permaculture principles?
With a bit of thought and great design you could have a resilient garden that would allow you to enjoy it fully and feel ok when you're away.
Well i'm afraid that when you go into it there'll be a LOT more tabs open...😅
Est-ce que tu fais ton café à l'ancienne ? ![]()
Pourquoi pas?
Of course I do feel that 💖 beating in french.
Mais de temps en temps, ça pourrait être cool.
Cela ferait votre 4ème langue n'est-ce pas?
LOL, "Pourquoi pas" means "why not" ie I'd love to ^^
It's funny, I have found french being so floral and sometimes too complicated. But I think it is linked to my personal story and how the language was used to limit my perception of things.
When I learned a new language I felt as freer as I've never felt.
Free to think by myself to say what i wanted and to dissociate with what i didn't like.
A language also is more than sounds even if it's beautiful. It implies culture, ways of thinking and of being, of course history runs through it.
So when you love - or don't - a language, it is like if all this was coming into play.
I have been attracted to Japanese and sign language as well.
