Are there any tags that the retro gaming community are using for Mastodon? Trying to bulk up the ol' follow list to fill my feeds up with lovely pixels on crts and pick-up posts - make it feel even more like home.
@JayCB64 much like you I am new here and it took me a couple of hours to realise the importance of hashtags here. I've tagged a few things #gaming as that's more popular than #retrogaming
But both have a fair bit of activity.
@JayCB64 I've been on Twitter since 2009! I know how you feel.
@gpowerf @JayCB64 #retrocomputing is another good one.
@confusedbunny @JayCB64 cool thank you :) When I start tinkering with the C64 again I will use that.
@gpowerf Great to know, I'll start hashtagging in that case! Cheers for the advise.
Feels strange to have to relearn a social media site - but then I guess the last time I really had to was a decade ago for Twitter, maybe I'm just over the hill 😂
