I'm probably gonna have to shop for a new laptop. I've had a MacBook for a long time, and I like the hardware but they're pretty expensive so I'm thinking about getting something else. Also considering running Linux, probably dual boot to start with.
I really appreciate when I can run the laptop without the fans spinning up all the time, and that's something that's hard to tell from specs. :(
@SonnyBonds it is easy for me to say this as I’ve been a Linux user for a couple of decades. But why dual boot? What will you miss?
@gpowerf But if you run linux maybe you have tips for things to avoid that don't work well?
@gpowerf I have work stuff that I want to be able to do if needed that is win or mac (currently).
