My last days on twitter was mostly watching Arabs going apeshit in response to the German team's gesture.
Their replies are the hate and violence you'd expect from right wing fascists in regards to any queer existence.

This reminds me that I made 2 reports to the admin of bassam.social regarding one their users using the logo of an Arabic anti-LGBT campaign as their profile picture, and my reports got ignored.

Please consider calling for Arabic moderators.
A lot of Arabic queers (and other marginalised groups) are using this platform as a safe space from the aggression we go through on daily basis.
And Arab homophobic users are bringing their hostility to the platform and we shouldn't allow it.

@photon very valid point. Multilingual and multicultural moderation is necessary for both fairness and safety. Sadly difficult too.

There is still a good chance to call for multicultural/multilingual moderators.
We haven't reached the critical point where the problematic users outnumber the users aligned with the fediverse values.
If I can say such thing exists.
