It is rude to call a person without emailing, texting or DMing first to let them know when you will probably call. (unless it is an emergency of dire urgency)
@futurebird maybe I’m just old, but I’d say no. Phone for me is the first port of call, if you know how rarely I check text messages you’d never send me a text. I go months without looking.
