Started a thread on my old account and my bird site account, figured I'd bring it back here:
My 2023 #NewYearsResolution is simple and achievable: make a serious dent in my extensive (and growing!) backlog of video games I need to play and/or finish. I ended 2022 by finally finishing #HorizonForbiddenWest after 9 months of wittling away at it. Now onto the next for 2023!
Second game of 2023 wrapped! In preparation for playing #GodOfWarRagnarok I returned to Midgard and played through #GodOfWar2018 to completion. Absolutely riveting experience. Can’t wait to sink my teeth into the sequel!
Not technically a game you can beat, but third game of 2023 knocked out: #Satisfactory. Not big into survival games, but since this is more of a resource management sim... it's scratching an itch I didn't even know I had. 20 hours this week, dozens more to come!
Currently on the agenda for completion in the next month or so:
#GodOfWarRagnarok #HogwartsLegacy #HiFiRush
Games I'm excited to hit up this year that haven't come out yet:
#JediSurvivor #FinalFantasy16 #SpiderMan2 #starfield
#HorizonForbiddenWest Burning Shores DLC
And another one bites the dust: #HogwartsLegacy story completed tonight. Still have plenty of collectibles, side content and achievements to hunt down. This game did something for me that few games have ever done, and it did it in a world I have escaped into (by page, by screen and by dream) since I was a little boy. The love and care poured into every corner of this game… just phenomenal. On to the next game of 2023!
@tylorsweeney I’m getting closer to finishing this… maybe 😄 still loving the game. Made a lot of progress this weekend.
