Having stepped away from Reddit I do kinda miss the #SBCgaming community. Got an email this morning about the new Retroid Pocket 2S that I'm sure there's some lively chatter about over there still!
@wiredfire Can I ask what SBC Gaming means?
Sorry, I keep thinking Small Block Chevy and I'm 100% sure you are not talking of engines :)
@gpowerf haha 😉 It means Single Board Computing Gaming.
Initially was a community about using single board machines like the Raspberry Pi for gaming (mostly classic console emulation) and expanded into handheld devices like those from Anbernic and Retroid.
@wiredfire DOH! So obvious :(
Thanks :D
@gpowerf I wouldn’t say it’s obvious at all! I was chatting with folk about it for a few days when I found the community before finding out myself 😆
