@douglaspynn @petergleick the murky guidelines and the obvious continued existence of the virus means that most of the world population has accepted the end of the pandemic as the 5th of May 2023, but some have not. It means that most people have accepted the risk like they accept the risk of auto accidents, it’s much to do with how risk averse people are.
Pretty sure they did not declare an end to the pandemic, though.

Not to mention we are firmly in a wave here in Canada now.
Politicians cannot end a pandemic. Only science can. Science says pandemic is still on.
