Sorry about the political toot. But when the PM cancels #HS2 north of #Birmingham, dismissing it as “the ultimate example of the old consensus” what does he mean? That it’s old mentality thinking that we can build new large infrastructure projects? That the #UK is now a Post-Industrial-Revolution country and we will learn to regress to a pre-industrialisation state? What does he mean?
