Experiments with Far Infrared Heating

What with the situation in the world, I've been trying to reduce our domestic gas consumption. Looking through our smart meter readings, our biggest usage is heating (in winter) followed by hot water (showers and baths) then cooking. Was finally cold enough today for me to start the Far Infrared heater again.

Wondering if buying a bunch of them for the house makes sense? Would cut down our gas use - but massively increase our electricity use.

The solar battery might shave off some costs.

Sadly, our home isn't suitable for a heat-pump.
