A 2010 view. I think I do recall reading that, then being an avid BoingBoing reader 👍. And the DD article on Hypercard. It’s likely why I deferred 3 yrs before succumbing to an iPad. That iPad’s original battery is still good, unfortunately outlasting Apple’s maintenance of software (incl browser & cert) updates. I haven’t yet replaced it as I have a modest spec iPhone and a selection of laptops but I do hanker after an iPad mini. The iPhone’s quick and handy, the laptops are poweful, but a mini or any similar tablet can act as today’s VT100 into any remote platform.
