@dans I damned HATE trying to get people to Spain by train. SNCF's crap timetables, useless cross border service France-Spain, sky high prices. It's all damned awful.
@jon@dans Take a train to Italy & ferry west across Mediterranean to Barcelona. UK option might be long ferry voyage to Bilbao or Santander then RENFE. (Somewhat tongue in cheek ideas).
@jon@dans Wow, foot pax Rosslare-Bilbao is €205 one way without any onboard services added. Add cabin (min €199, not slumming an overnight on a recliner seat) & food/drinks. That idea didn’t last long 🙁
