I feel bad when I can't remember a student's name, because I know they're thinking "I've had three classes with you" or "You're my advisor" or "I'm literally wearing a name tag" or "Dad!".

@peterdrake I cycle through all the names in the family, including the dog, when talking to them. You just need a bigger cycle list! :)
@hasmis It would need close to a hundred names ... and I'd have to update it every year.
I'd have pretty good odds by guessing "Ben" or "Caitlyn" (although no two of the latter spell it the same way).
