Bolt is introducing a penalty system for users who engage in risky driving of electric scooters. This includes two people riding the same scooter every five trips, constant sharp braking, and collisions. If the user does not change their behavior after being warned, they will be limited to a speed of 15 km/h and, if the violation is repeated, their ability to rent a scooter for a week will be blocked. This feature is already available in Germany and Portugal.
