@hesgen Yes, they are trashed. It makes the Lords look bad by association, and they're not starting from a position of elected popularity.
@hesgen reminds me of the story of the judge. The defendant, when asked if he had anything to say before sentence said "as god is my judge, I am not guilty"
The judge responded "he's not. I am. You are. eighteen months"
