You have no idea of what you are talking about. Navalny was an actual criminal, racist and xenophobic. He had zero support in Russia until the Western media turned the spotlight on him and despite that, only a small percentage of young people in Russia support him, all convinced that there is democracy in Western countries i.e. plagiarized by Western propaganda.

He was absolutely harmless for Putin, and his death only benefits Western countries, which can present him as a martyr.
