I am very new here and not a lot seems to be happening.
So I will post a favourite bird from ten years ago in Gluepot Reserve, South Australia. This is a male Scarlet-chested Parrot.

@hikenwoodwork They're one of the 'shoveler' ducks. They do have impressive bills 😀
@hikenwoodwork Yes! I love Norther Shovelers and I have even seen two of them here in Oz. They can be a 'vagrant rarity' to AUS.
@RBruceOz another amazing example of the migratory distances birds cover. I am just in awe of the miles/km they cover!!!
