I need to make a 1.5 × 16 × 240 mm grooves in the endgrain. I've made the first batch (8) of the with a small hand saw (a cross-cut one to make things harder). It worked but it was neither physically nor technically easy. Now I need to make 24. Any ideas, how not to spend a whole week cutting nothing more than grooves? #woodworking

@hikenwoodwork too thin. the groove needs to be 1.5 mm to accommodate the supporting angle.

@steelman really small router bit? Not sure they come so small, but it beats hand sawing

@hikenwoodwork that's the problem I am trying to solve (-; there are small (30 mm diameter) circular saw blades, but they are low rpm (1000-2000) and I've got high rpm (>5000) router. I'd have to build a jig to hold an electric drill. doable, but maybe too complicated for a one-off diy project.

@steelman @hikenwoodwork Fine tooth thin kerf paneling blade on a table saw.

@dm @hikenwoodwork I'am not saying no, but holding a 30×120 cm board perfectly vertical and moving it isn't that easy. Yes, clamping to a larger block will help. Worth considering. Thanks.

@daniel_bohrer @hikenwoodwork Almost exactly xD I am making completely new longer ones. Thanks for the tip.
