"There's something in his floundering, his meaningless bonhomie, his faux sincerity and his inability to appear decisive or really in control that takes me right back to so many pointless, mind-numbing meetings in shabbily furnished, airless rooms - broken watercooler, missing ceiling tiles, stained carpets, yellowed noticeboards, constant trivial interruptions - where everybody knew, right from the start, that nothing of any consequence and nothing of any benefit for actual patients was going to arise.
