I was thinking about you just this afternoon :-)
My friend's and my children have nearly all grown up now. Just a couple left at home.
Two of the girls took a couple of years of philo and theo at a catholic college back east. A few are home now, because of covid.
The one 20 year old stated that because A therefore B while I was updating the family PC.
I said I didn't take A as axiomatic... Wow, she went off on me! :-)
"Have you read The Summa?" She: "Well.. excerpts.."

It reminds me of a story, circulating a few years ago, in which first-year undergraduates reading English Literature at a well-known Cambridge college were requested to read a particular novel. One of their bolder members piped up (incredulousy) and asked the lecturer "Do you mean the WHOLE thing?"
