Shwmae! I am crowdfunding the fee for my citizenship application after I was the first person ever to sit the citizenship test in Welsh. I hope you will support me in my quest to affirm Welsh language and identity as vital aspects of life in the UK and in my wish to become a de facto Welsh citizen. I've now made a small contribution. I hope others do the same.

I lived in Cymru for sixteen years, the last ten in Cwmdu, Powys. Currently I'm living on the Greek island of Symi in the Dodecanese. Several Welsh people have a strong connection with the island.

On the language side, when I first met my wife, who was born in Guyana ( d. 2017), she was learning Welsh in Coventry!
