#introductions

Hello, I’ve just moved here from mastodon.social, and thought I’d write up a quick introductory post.

I’m a high school #teacher from Australia, and my subject areas are English and Drama. I’d like to teach French one day, and am also interested in case work, or other school-based #welfare or #wellbeing roles.

Other areas I’m interested in:

#literature, particularly women’s lit & South Asian authors
#postcolonial & #diaspora studies
#whiteness studies
#mentalhealth
#LGBTQI

@mooncalf #introduction (continued)

Fun things I like include:

#knitting (I’m an absolute beginner)
#Pokemon, especially the #TCG, which I’m currently collecting.
#3DS consoles and games
#PCgaming, especially adventure, TBS, and indie games.

And anything #funny, really.

Nice to meet you!
