@koyu i'm thinking about bugs coded by well intended and even highly competent users, that just don't have the means to properly test the effect of their changes in well controlled and safe situations, things that require millions of dollars of budget to do properly.

@tshirtman @koyu@koyu.space It should be possible to allow customized infotainment software. In a properly designed car, the infotainment system should be isolated (aside from limited, hardened interfaces) from the software that controls the vital systems of the car anyway, since the infotainment system includes various RF interfaces to outside systems.
