@Bam @atomicpoet I agree. Two things. I would changes instances if that's where it is originating. If it is an individual (s), I would block them. Can't stop people from being assholes. Took a year of therapy to understand that. My life, my boundaries. And that was way before there were this many ugly people in the world. Cut the ugly out.

Is there a tech solution to this conflict?
Can individuals or instances choose to see only CWed posts on their feed?
Can an instance be made " CW necessary to publish or view"?
Can an individual check tick box and get the same for themself?

Is this:
1. Currently available?
2. Theoretically easily available?
3. Theoretically difficult but possible?

#ContentWarnings

@skua @noondlyt @Bam @atomicpoet This is actually one of the things that sounds promising about the AT protocol underlying Bluesky. It sounds like content can be labeled by the originator or others and can then be put behind content warnings for a given user based on their preferences. That way different people can have CWs for different things and it's not entirely reliant on the originator using a specific hashtag.

@skua @noondlyt @Bam @atomicpoet I guess I should add that I don't think any technical solution will entirely solve the problem, but it may at least facilitate some compromise that everyone could live with.
