I HATE outlook. For example, it does not allow to decline all future instances of a given meeting.

I can either delete all of them (including the ones I attended in the past and would like to keep for tracking reasons). Or remove each one individually, every week ...

GRAH!

@vicgrinberg It has many flaws! Unfortunately, I haven't found anything better.

@vicgrinberg I used Thunderbird for a while, but I can't get it to work adequately with my speech recognition software (Dragon). I agree that it is a decent alternative for most people, however.

@IzzyChambers That's not something I have experience with and can comment on.

For me, Outlook is forced on by work. And it cannot do simple things - like sending unbroken emails as plain text, not html (by now officially confirmed by Microsoft support who also told us they will not fix it) or properly handling preferences on recurring meetings.

@vicgrinberg I am also forced to use Outlook for work, and I loathe it. I can't understand how it is *so* bad but has remained dominant for so long. The UI is an abomination!

Related to your complaint, another thing I find annoying is that declining a meeting deletes the invitation, so if I change my mind later (e.g. a conflict resolves) then I have to ask to be re-invited. There are various workarounds to this, but I have yet to find one I actually like.
