@christineburns Just a reminder charcoal and wood are considered "renewable resources"... renewable is not the same as green.

Thankfully here the renewable resources are also green resources.. my point is only that its a bad choice of breakdown IMO

Follow

@freemo @christineburns Since on of the named categories is biomass, surely those would call there in this case (i.e. the more specifically applicable category).

@internic

Yes that is probably what they are doing... im poiinting out that is incorrect... biomass is not an "other" it is a renewable, non-green resource so should either be under renewable or renewable should be renamed to green.

I think it's fine as it is. Additional context given on the page under biomass:

"Biomass power stations burn plant material to produce steam to drive a turbine. Great Britain’s largest power station, Drax, is a former coal-fired power station converted to burn wood pellets.

[...] Drax imports most of its wood pellets, and a BBC investigation found that Drax was clearfelling irreplaceable old-growth forests in Canada"

@iaincollins the description is fine, and its really not the end of the world that its technically inaccurate..im just a nit picker for correctness on technical stuff is all.. in my head its renewable, so it should be under renewable.
