A new day. A new chance to succeed.

I've been spoiled over the last year. Not so much as a sniffle of a cold. Nary a flu bug in my life.

The last 24 hours of fever and body ache have reminded me that I'm not really in control. I'm just along for the ride.

Sure I can make the journey more pleasant in the short run, but sooner or later a bridge is washed out, a road torn up. All I can do is ride out the rough patch and hope for the best.
