From @TeacherTapp@twitter.com today:
If I teach all 3 sciences am I going to get a pay rise or do I need a physics degree to qualify? 🤔
@DrRacheal Is there any evidence to suggest new teachers are signing up for those areas or current teachers are upskilling?
@jellycrystals Not even remotely. It was a dumb statement from the current Ed Sec because we have a HIDEOUS recruitment crisis looming in the UK...
(I still have that Chem job if you want to work in a grey, cold country 😜)
@DrRacheal I start teaching in Bangkok in August!
@jellycrystals What?? Whole fam moving?
@DrRacheal Yep! New family adventure! Exciting times!
@jellycrystals WOW!! That's very exciting ☺️
@DrRacheal Very much. Now we just have to downsize a 4 bedroom house and rumpus to a small storage space and 4 suitcases... Got 6 months at least.
@jellycrystals So very cool, though ☺️
