@ERDonnachie @tauft Due to a change in position, I left the R world when I was using the older *caret* package, so I had been previously exposed to the idea of a recipe. I have returned to R recently and was impressed by *tidymodels*. Yes, its learning curve may be steep, but it lets you do complex (and correct) things in a clear way.
And I say that after 4-5 years of having to deal with scikit-learn's pipelines.
