What I don’t understand is that Musk must know that this will hurt Tesla, which is closely associated with him. A few years ago, there was not a lot of options for EVs, but that’s certainly not the situation now and a lot of people who might have bought one will instead buy a competitor’s EV.

@andrewdessler Imho he has already damaged Tesla with the lies about full autonomous driving, get-rich with robot taxis, and semi. Moreover shares have lost 1/2 their value this year: the bubble is deflating. Because of what you wrote in parts I guess.
