This HealthKit session mirroring stuff was unappealing, mostly because I wrote my own stuff long ago. But, def worth checking out! Even if you only partially adopt it on top of your existing mirroring, you can now start a Live Activity in the BG via Watch session start.
To be clear, I'm very glad Apple made all this new stuff, and I hope to migrate eventually. But I really needed it along side watchOS 4.2 :P
@parrots Do you really still support Series 0 watches with Slopes?
@lorihc oh no not at all! Series 3 though yes (which means I need iOS 15 / watchOS 8)
