@_Davidsmith @lorihc I've been in the wearing-multiple-watches club for the past week or so and am struggling to figure out how to disable Sleep on all but one of the watches.

If I disable Sleep on a test watch, it gets turned off on all my devices. If I leave Sleep on, I get alarms on the test watch.

There's gotta be a way to mute the test device…

@chockenberry @_Davidsmith Are both watches paired to the same phone? Wearing them both at once if that’s the case is going to be a weird experience indeed. (My watches are paired to different phones, and the third is a Family Setup watch.) The correct way to turn off Sleep tracking per watch is to go to Settings > Sleep on the watch, scroll down, and tap Don’t Use This Watch for Sleep.

@lorihc @_Davidsmith I looked at that screen, and every green switch on it. Never even saw the red text.

I think I'm set now. Thanks!

@kylesethgray @lorihc @_Davidsmith No, they are not. I have auto switch enabled on one phone that's running iOS 17.

We don't all have endless devices to test with ;-)

@chockenberry @kylesethgray @_Davidsmith Endless, no… but a worthwhile investment to have a *couple* at least if your app(s) support multiple device specs and OS versions. What Kyle (and I, in my earlier reply) are referring to, tho, is that you might get strange, and not real-world, results if you’re wearing both devices paired to a single phone at the same time.

@lorihc @kylesethgray @_Davidsmith I talked about this a bit on the last Talk Show, but I got myself into a bit of a bind with the iPhone Upgrade program. Getting a new device each year is great, but it leaves you without any old devices for testing.

Been relying a lot on Simulators, but yeah, it's a problem. And I suspect I’m not alone…

@chockenberry @kylesethgray @_Davidsmith Yeah, I did hear that. Might be worthwhile to get a used/refurbished device for testing?

@kylesethgray @chockenberry @lorihc @_Davidsmith I have the same question: I have 2 watches I use interchangeably and every morning I need to turn off my sleep alarm either:
— on the phone + non currently connected watch
— on the connected watch + non currently connected watch

I think I’ll turn off the watch I don’t use/not connected to work around this. I’ve assumed it’s not usual to have 2 watches

@tomn94 @kylesethgray @chockenberry @_Davidsmith I do have multiple watches paired with a single phone and sometimes switch between them, but only one is active for sleeping at a time.
