If it's not profitable, big Corps wont support it. Start with breaking free from the big G https://killedbygoogle.com/
@lucifargundam
I dont like them either but what is the problem of them killing their own apps?
@joli there's multiple problems with this but what's noting in this context is the persistent behavior of laying waste to some of what many have considered to be valuable and in some cases- important products. Depending on specific licensing applied to whichever projects, it may be near impossible for others to create a clone of certain projects due to copyright. I haven't gone through all the licenses myself, but am reliably confident that trying to resurrect any of the dead projects would lead to more troubles than might otherwise be easily avoided.
Taking a step back, it is a marvel to see a blatant canvass of Google's numerous "failures".
@freemo @joli @lucifargundam tfw you must use javascript to present a list of projects, empty page otherwise
There are so far 208 items on that list. Each giving a description and dates to each. I won't relist the whole list but here is the top of it::::
AngularJS
Google Hangouts
App Maker
Google Cloud Print
Trusted Contacts
Google Play Music
Nest Secure
Hire by Google
Password Checkup extension
Focals by North
Google Photos Print
Shoelace

Fabric
Material Theme Editor
Google Chrome Apps
Google Station
One Today
Androidify
Google Correlate
Google Translator Toolkit
@lucifargundam True of all companies really.. This right here is why we should be skeptical of the news as well, they are big corps only in it for the profit.
