Linodeだと200GBだと$20くらいか。でもここは1GiB単位で買える

@mamemomonga
I use nanodes for all my servers.

I ran am Ark server once with Linode- I will NEVER do that again! I basically paid more than the cost of my cellphone bill for a personal videogame server that just sat there inoperable.

That was my fault though- not Linode's.

@mamemomonga
Depending on how much data your server used- it might be more cost effective to host it at home.

All my servers are public-facing and I don't want to open any ports in my router. I already got into a fight over someone wanting to have a port foward for a locally used printer.

@lucifargundam You can use nginx's streaming function or ssh's Port Forwarding.

Either way, there's no point in opening up the firewall for a local device that doesn't need external access. :/

@lucifargundam There is also a way not to expose the router's port using ssh remote forward, but you will need an external server.
