Why IOS is more secure than android? Explain

It is? I thought iOS is just as secure as Android

@GNUxeava
This can go either of 2 ways depending on the textbook's point of view. This is academia- not reality.

Cringe Textbook Assumptions

@GNUxeava
Going off of a past life's experience with textbooks, I'd wager it's saying that Android isn't as secure because it uses more open source software.

@lucifargundam@qoto.org spot on
It is worded something like this "source code of apple stuff is not available"

This shit would drive me up a wall. It's "techncially right" but in practice it's more complicated.

Hiding the source code then claiming it's more secure implies you are ignoring the fact that the undisclosed vulnerabilities don't exist and might not be larger in number than the ones in an open source project.
