i love how all of them are now non-nerd stuff

@Stellar I mean, world of warcraft and magic the gathering are from where I sit

@izaya@social.shadowkat.net what does that mean? where are you sitting

@Stellar from the viewpoint of a reclusive 30yo boomer such as myself

@izaya@social.shadowkat.net litterally millions of people are playing warcraft and a movie was made

@izaya@social.shadowkat.net thankfully its actually a little nerdy because it fuckings sucks and its boring

@Stellar the perception of it is still nerdy

I say as someone that only interacted with other people via work for the last 5 years

@izaya@social.shadowkat.net yeah true

@Stellar @izaya
Interesting, I thought anything covered by a vtuber made it un-nerdy...

@lucifargundam@qoto.org @izaya@social.shadowkat.net vtuber is not even a word that exits the mouth of a normal adult that goes outside bro what are you on about yet alone whatever those cringe actors are doing

@Stellar @izaya
I have no idea what I'm talking about tbh, I had to jot down the word from my BBS I repaired this morning after dialing my telephone company about how my landline is sounding weird when I pick up the receiver.

Could you please tell me what it means? My great-great-granddaughter told me to google it but I'm not so silly as to count a number and expect the answer to appear by time I reach the end.

@lucifargundam@qoto.org @izaya@social.shadowkat.net you still have landlines? i'm sorry its very outside my expertise

@Stellar @izaya

AOL online is too complicated for me to use, so I have the neighbor kid come over once a month to make sure my modem still works the same as it did four years ago in 1982

@lucifargundam@qoto.org @izaya@social.shadowkat.net no you're trolling the internet wasn't a thing back then

@Stellar @lucifargundam idk if you're talking shit but the original version* of AOL came online in 1984

*the several times removed predecessor of the dialup ISP, for commodore 64 only

@izaya@social.shadowkat.net @lucifargundam@qoto.org i have no idea what you're talking about
