@oceaniceternity @tchambers only that this is taking the "just leave" decision on behalf of the entire pub crowd. Wouldn't it be polite to first inform them at least that they are all about to collectively be made leave?

The analogy is imperfect because the behavior inside one pub does not typically impact the experience of those in another pub, within reason.
Perhaps two pubs have gardens adjacent to one another and so the landlords decide to share that bigger space. If the patrons of one pub started ruining the shared garden experience and the landlord did nothing about it, the other landlord could reasonably reinstall the fence between the two gardens.
