huh, i was puzzling over the fact that a very normal looking hexagonal grid with four tiles to a side has a weird (prime!) number of tiles (37), assumed "hexagonal numbers" would be the right keyterm to explain it, but... the way they're defined according to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexagona doesn't align at all
