@inquiline @Zeb_Larson it’s funny that this is literally the exact problem we ran into in *2005* with the NYC indymedia open publishing newswire. We tried to solve it by designing a … kind of algorithm😂
@inquiline @Zeb_Larson I should add that it didn’t work, mostly because no one could agree on what political values the algorithm would embody.

@Chanders @inquiline @Zeb_Larson isn't this a case for the development of user-controlled algorithms where one should be able to control how their feed gets filtered and enhanced, call it an open user model if you like?
