I don't know about the west, but they aren't preventing anybody from leaving. Depends on where the safe corridor is at a particular time and if it's safe …
They have in the past let folks go to Poland at checkpoints they controlled. Of course, military aged men and women have to prove they're not Azov, or Ultra Nationalist 1st.
