@JamesGleick @JosephONeillx Seems like even Democrats outside NYC are probably sick of having the conversation completely dominated by NYC. And NYC seems to produce its own brand of Democrat, people like Michael Blomberg who are barely distinguishable from Republicans.

This. Absolutely this. NYS Democratic leadership is very corrupt and even Hochul, who is from Buffalo, is no exception. If Zeldin had been a moderate Never Trumper instead of an election denying Trump toadie, Hochul would have probably lost and it would not have even been narrow.

@truthsandwich @JamesGleick @JosephONeillx The fact that I've never even heard of the WFP before makes me dubious that they've had much of an impact. The only source I can see that actually credits them with her victory is the New York Post. And Politico calls Hochul a centrist.
