So Mastodon *intentionally* adds friction to interaction?

Which is a problem. A lot of disabled folks depend on Twitter for community.

And if Mastodon is positioning itself as a post-Twitter haven, well, it needs to do better.

@gwensnyder As a person with ADHD *and* autism spectrum disorder, I've found this place way more usable and accepting than Twitter.

Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "intentionally adds friction". If you are referring to the lack of quote tweets, that's a) intended to prevent *harassment*, not add friction for friction's sake, and b) varies from instance to instance (I have it on this instance) because (surprise surprise) not everyone agrees that quote tweets prevent harassment.
