I’m 70% finished the first in the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov and so far there is not a single named character who is not a cis male. Some years ago I read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and there was not a single named female character that was not cis. 😉

@mc @sawauthor @bookstodon If you want an updated modern day retelling of Little Women, Ann Napolitano has written one: HELLO BEAUTIFUL is written to be more inclusive, though the narrative could have gone farther. The book release is March 14th.
