Ok, I need some further education and thinking on notices. I realize that we all have different perspectives, and I don't have to worry about them on qoto.org instance, but I have others who are following from other places and I want to be sensitive to that.

So, what topics must include CWs from your perspective?

My list so far as an education professional is anything not appropriate or professional for a work environment, especially but not limited to:

*Not Safe for Work Content like nudity, body parts, blood and guts
* Politics like Trump, power struggles between various groups (including systemic racism)
* Religious arguments
* Personal attacks

What else?

@mguhlin "spoilers" as in the revealing info of a book, movie, magic trick, etc

@mguhlin I also see it as a way for a poster to spare others from HAVING to read their thoughts about any particular topic. So less a content warning (though it certainly can and should be that) and more like a “click to read more if you want to”. It’s a level of broadcast control that is not typically upfront present in other spaces.
