@wolfgangcramer I *love* how low-friction (literally and figuratively) traveling by train is!
You come to a *special place*, not too far from where you live hopefully, at a specific time, hop into a nice machine, with comfortable seating, and that's it. You can open a book or just enjoy the view, and *poof*, a bunch of hours later, you're half-a-continent away, ready to meet old friend or make new ones. Minimal noise, no turbulence, no breathing of kerosene vapors for hours, no pants-on-head security-theater, just sitting, relaxing, and arriving in a whole new place. 🛤️

I've grown to appreciate my local Finnish VR plenty, honorary medal goes to DB and their cheap (compared to Finnish prices) and nice #beer.
